Fees

The Biomedical Informatics Facility relies on grant funding for much of its cost recovery. We encourage researchers in the planning stages of new grant proposals or grant renewals to contact a member of the facility about potential biomedical informatics and bioinformatics requirements. A member of the biomedical informatics team will assist with assessing the computational services required as well as actively participate in grant preparation.

Although the ideal mechanism for Facility reimbursement is through grant funding, services are offered at hourly or project rates.

Hourly rates for database design, web-based interfaces and custom programming for data analysis:

Cancer Center Project - $35/hour
Non-Cancer Center Project - $50/hour

Project-based fees: Single fee for programming and planning based on assessment of project requirements.
